Wedding Flower Checklist

Personal Flowers

Who gets flowers at a wedding? Obviously, the brides and bridesmaids, but there are others who will potentially need personal flowers, as well. Here's every personal flower to consider:

  • Bride's bouquet

  • Bride's floral crown or hair flowers

  • Bridesmaids' bouquets

  • Tossing bouquet (for the bouquet toss at the reception)

  • Flower girl's bouquet (or basket of petals, floral crown, or pomander)

  • Groom's boutonniere

  • Groomsmen's boutonnieres

  • Ring bearer's boutonniere

  • Mother of the bride's corsage or nosegay

  • Mother of the groom's corsage or nosegay

  • Father of the bride's boutonniere

  • Father of the groom's boutonniere

  • Grandmothers' corsages

  • Grandfathers' boutonnieres

  • Officiant's boutonniere

  • Ushers' boutonnieres

Ceremony Flowers

You'll need flowers for the ceremony, as well. Make sure to talk to your florist about what (if any) of your ceremony flowers can be re-purposed at the reception to save money. Here are the common arrangements used during the ceremony:

  • Entryway or welcome table arrangements

  • Altar or chuppah arrangements

  • Pew or chair arrangements

  • Aisle decorations

  • Tossing petals for guests

Reception Flowers

Naturally, you'll need centerpieces—but that's not all. Consider whether or not you want the following:

  • Cocktail table arrangements

  • Bar arrangements

  • Escort card table arrangements

  • Centerpieces

  • Newlyweds' chair decorations

  • Buffet table/food station arrangements

  • Lounge area arrangements

  • Flowers for wedding cake

  • Cake table arrangements

  • Powder room decorations

  • Getaway car arrangements

"Very Friendly, available, and easy to work with! Hand selected incredibly fresh flowers and got the color we were going for exactly right. Gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets. Absolutely loved the arch arrangement she made that was then able to be transferred to the head table so that it could be used for both ceremony and reception. Very affordable when compared to other wedding florists! I am sure our guests thought that we spent much more than we did on the flowers because they were so gorgeous, nicely put together, and appeared very high end. I have no hesitation in recommending this business to other brides."

"Working with Tiffany was effortless, something so appreciated during the stressful process of planning a wedding. She really took the time to listen to our needs and her professionalism, experience, and customer service was top notch. She went above and beyond in setting up, the flowers themselves were fresh and beautiful, and I really appreciated her suggestions. She is so sweet, kind, and thoughtful, and I would recommend her to everyone! She helped make my wedding day beautiful and working with her from start to finish was a dream."
